List of authors involved

Amy Lane
Amy Lane dodges an EDJ, mothers four children, and writes the occasional book. She, her brood, and her beloved mate, Mack, live in a crumbling mortgage in Citrus Heights, California, which is riddled with spiders, cats, and more than its share of fancy and weirdness. Feel free to visit her at or, where she will ride the buzz of receiving your e-mail until her head swells and she can no longer leave the house.

Andrea Speed
Andrea Speed writes way too much. She is the Editor In Chief of, where she reviews comics as well as movies and occasionally interviews comic creators. She also has a serial fiction blog where she writes even more, and she occasionally reviews books for Joe Bob Briggs's site. She might be willing to review you, if you ask nicely enough, but really she should knock it off while she's ahead.

C.M. Torrens
C.M. Torrens writes stories of dark new worlds and of people who find love in strange places. Her fascination with paranormal and the unusual often lead her down strange paths that creep onto the page. She loves stories which uncover hope in bleak circumstances and remind us that we are never really alone.

You can follow her work and progress at or on twitter at

Casey K. Cox
Casey K Cox is an avid reader and author of m/m erotic fiction. Hailing from the West of England she tends to set her stories in the UK. Casey has written fanfic (Special Forces and The Administration) and has a free serial read –The Rise of Alec Caldwell – available online. You can follow her work at

Embry Carlysle and N.J. Nielsen
The Realms & How We Met.

The Realms was an idea that brought NJ Nielsen, an Aussie 42 year-old wife and mother together with Embry Carlysle, an American 50 year old single mom of two teens.

NJ is quite often found snuggled up in her comfy chair with her laptop on her legs as she writes about the wonderful and often somewhat crazy men in her stories. She loves nothing better than putting together the profiles on each of her characters giving them all their mannerisms and idiosyncrasies. When not writing you will find her distracted by reading someone else’s work. Or talking to Embry about the world they are creating.

Embry can be found every evening sitting in front of her laptop frantically writing all the random story plots that often pop into her head at the most inopportune time. An avid reader of various genres, all based on romance, she often finds herself writing her own storylines in her head, reworking the scenes over and over until they click. Besides her children, and her writing her greatest joy is creating worlds with her good friend NJ. Oh the places they will go.

Kathleen Hayes
I am a sci-fi geek who loves to read more than almost anything else. I have perfected the art of procrastination, am owned by two amazing cats and love being a Christian (but not the scary kind). My favorite thing to read (and write), at least in romances, are first kisses. I was recently convinced to start putting pen (or keyboard I guess) to the people knocking around in my brain. There might have been a dare involved. I write M/M Romance and poetry. Check out the romance at and check out the poetry at ! I love to hear from y'all so if you have questions/comments/feedback comment on one of my livejournals, message me on goodreads or email me at

Lissa Kasey
Lissa Kasey lives in St. Paul, MN, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing, and collects Asian Ball Joint Dolls who look like her characters. She has three cats who enjoy waking her up an hour before her alarm every morning and sitting on her lap to help her write. She can often be found at Anime Conventions masquerading as random characters when she's not writing about boy romance.

Marguerite Labbe
Marguerite has been accused of being eccentric and a shade neurotic, both of which she freely admits to, but her muse has OCD tendencies, so who can blame her? Her husband and son do an excellent job keeping her toeing the line, though. Together with her co-author Fae Sutherland, Marguerite has found a shared passion for beautiful men with smart mouths.

When she's not working hard on writing new material and editing completed work, she spends her time reading novels of all genres, enjoying role-playing games with her equally nutty friends, and trying to plot practical jokes against her son and husband. Her son is learning the tricks too quickly and likes to retaliate. You'd think she'd learn.

Mary Calmes
Mary Calmes currently lives in Honolulu, Hawaii, with her husband and two children and hopes to eventually move off the rock to a place where her children can experience fall and even winter. She graduated from the University of the Pacific (ironic) in Stockton, California, with a bachelor's degree in English literature. Due to the fact that it is English lit and not English grammar, do not ask her to point out a clause for you, as it will so not happen. She loves writing, becoming immersed in the process, and falling into the work. She can even tell you what her characters smell like. She works at a copy store but has been unable to incorporate that into a book... yet. She also buys way too many books on Amazon.

Megan Derr
Megan grew up a military brat and traveled extensively with her family for most of her youth. She lives now in Cincinnati, with two roommates and four cats. She has always been book obsessed, and writing obsessed since she first gave it a whirl in college. Romance and fantasy are her primary obsessions, but she's game to write just about anything and enjoys a challenge. She is a sucker for stories of enemies becoming lovers. When not writing, Megan is drinking too much coffee, reading still more books, harassing family and friends, or otherwise doing whatever possible to avoid editing.

Silvia Violet
Silvia Violet writes erotic romance and erotica in a variety of genres including sci fi, paranormal, and historical.

Silvia Violet can often be found haunting coffee shops looking for the darkest, strongest cup of coffee she can find. Once equipped with the needed fuel, she can happily sit for hours pounding away at her laptop. Silvia typically leaves home disguised as a suburban stay-at-home-mom, and other coffee shop patrons tend to ask her hilarious questions like "Do you write children's books?" She loves watching the looks on their faces when they learn what she's actually up to. When not writing, Silvia enjoys baking sinful chocolate treats, exploring new styles of cooking, and reading children's books to her wickedly smart offspring.

Xara X. Xanakas
Xara X. Xanakas decided years ago to embrace her weirdness. A friend first described her that way to the man who’s been her husband for over twenty years. That formula fits her, and she figures if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Being Texan, her crush on cowboys comes natural, but the techie in her loves to show nerds a good time. She relishes all things different, and brings saucy style to her writing. Whether wrangling a wayward ranch hand or adding another critter to her were-menagerie, Xara strives to make the outlandish appealing. She’ll make you quirk a brow and snort with laughter, and that’s all right by her. Xara believes that unique is best and happily ever after is the icing on the cookies.

She writes M/M Romances. You can probably tell by her initials (~xxx~) that her stories trend toward the very graphic, NSFW, not for minors category.

Zach Sweets
Zach, an army brat, was born in El Paso, TX, and has lived in North Carolina, Germany, Kansas, California, and the District of Columbia, before graduating from University of Baltimore in May 2010, with a degree in Applied Information Technology. He now resides in Arizona, where he moved to start a new adventure with his partner and dog.

In his spare time, Zach enjoys reading, mainly horror. He enjoys doing outdoor activities, and he runs on a daily basis. He participates in charitable running events, from 5k up to marathon distances.

Zach writes as often as he can and likes to push himself with writing challenges. Joining the M/M Romance group on has immensely boosted his motivation to become a successful Deaf author, writing about man to man love, with some horror thrown in for good measure.

When he is not writing or reading, Zach likes to practice his web design and development skills. He loves to hang out with love of his life as often as he can, finding things to do inside and outside the house, whether it be yard work, hiking, bike riding, walking their dog, eating out at a cozy diner, or just loving.

You can follow his blog at, share books with Zach on Goodreads, follow Zach on Twitter, or friend Zach on Facebook.
