Embry Carlysle and N.J. Nielsen

The Realms & How We Met.

The Realms was an idea that brought NJ Nielsen, an Aussie 42 year-old wife and mother together with Embry Carlysle, an American 50 year old single mom of two teens.

NJ is quite often found snuggled up in her comfy chair with her laptop on her legs as she writes about the wonderful and often somewhat crazy men in her stories. She loves nothing better than putting together the profiles on each of her characters giving them all their mannerisms and idiosyncrasies. When not writing you will find her distracted by reading someone else’s work. Or talking to Embry about the world they are creating.

Embry can be found every evening sitting in front of her laptop frantically writing all the random story plots that often pop into her head at the most inopportune time. An avid reader of various genres, all based on romance, she often finds herself writing her own storylines in her head, reworking the scenes over and over until they click. Besides her children, and her writing her greatest joy is creating worlds with her good friend NJ. Oh the places they will go.

Kathleen Hayes

I am a sci-fi geek who loves to read more than almost anything else. I have perfected the art of procrastination, am owned by two amazing cats and love being a Christian (but not the scary kind). My favorite thing to read (and write), at least in romances, are first kisses. I was recently convinced to start putting pen (or keyboard I guess) to the people knocking around in my brain. Marguerite has been accused of being eccentric and a shade neurotic, both of which she freely admits to, but her muse has OCD tendencies, so who can blame her? Her husband and son do an excellent job keeping her toeing the line, though. Together with her co-author Fae Sutherland, Marguerite has found a shared passion for beautiful men with smart mouths.

When she's not working hard on writing new material and editing completed work, she spends her time reading novels of all genres, enjoying role-playing games with her equally nutty friends, and trying to plot practical jokes against her son and husband. Mary Calmes currently lives in Honolulu, Hawaii, with her husband and two children and hopes to eventually move off the rock to a place where her children can experience fall and even winter. Zach Sweets

Zach, an army brat, was born in El Paso, TX, and has lived in North Carolina, Germany, Kansas, California, and the District of Columbia, before graduating from University of Baltimore in May 2010, with a degree in Applied Information Technology. He now resides in Arizona, where he moved to start a new adventure with his partner and dog.

In his spare time, Zach enjoys reading, mainly horror. He enjoys doing outdoor activities, and he runs on a daily basis. He participates in charitable running events, from 5k up to marathon distances.
